Study: Nevada residents pay the fourth-highest grocery bills in the country

NEVADA (KOLO) - A new study from Lending Tree shows that Nevada residents are paying some of the highest grocery bills in the nation.

Their study found that Nevada households are paying the fourth highest grocery bills in the nation, spending an average of $10,390 per year, which is about 27% more than the national average.

The study also found that Nevadans are spending 10.1% of their income on groceries.

According to Lending Tree, the national average for grocery spending is $8,167 a year, or 6.7% of income.
