Kyrgyzstan and China’s leading industrial province strengthen partnership

Deputy Minister of Economy of Kyrgyzstan, Nazarbek Malaev, held a meeting with Zhang Anshun, Deputy Secretary of the Heilongjiang Provincial Committee of the Communist Party of China. The press service of the Ministry of Economy of Kyrgyzstan reported.

The main topic of the meeting, aimed at strengthening bilateral economic ties, was the discussion of the prospects for cooperation between Kyrgyzstan and Heilongjiang Province, which occupies key positions in the industry and agriculture of China.

During the meeting, Nazarbek Malaev noted the successful dynamics of the development of trade and economic relations between Kyrgyzstan and China and expressed readiness to further expand cooperation directly with Heilongjiang Province. The parties also discussed the issue of Kyrgyzstan’s participation in the 34th Harbin International Economic and Trade Expo, scheduled for May 2025.

Zhang Anshun officially invited the Kyrgyz side to take part in the exhibition, emphasizing its importance as a platform for establishing and expanding business contacts. Following the meeting, both parties confirmed their interest in further fruitful cooperation and noted the activity of mutual visits and events held at the interstate level.
