RA Tourism Committee: Tourist flow to Armenia continues to decline

ArmInfo.  The tourist flow to Armenia continues to decline, as evidenced by data from the Tourism Committee of Armenia.  Thus, according to the department, in March 2025, 129,887 tourists visited Armenia compared to 152,865 people in the same period last year. At the same time,  Russians continue to lead in the number of visits to Armenia.  In March 2025, the tourist  flow from Russia amounted to 37%. Georgia was in second place with  15%, and Iran was in third place with 9%.

It should be noted that according to the Tourism Committee, 2.14  million tourists visited Armenia in 2024, which is 7.4% lower than  the figure for the previous year. Traditionally, the majority of  visitors are Russian tourists (43% or 922.2 thsnd), followed by  tourists from Georgia (13% or 279.3 thsnd), Iran (8.4% or 75.8  thsnd), the USA (2.8% or 59.6 thsnd), India (2% or 43.5 thsnd.),  China (1.5% or 32.2 thsnd), France (1.4% or 28.7 t thsnd), etc.
