Lightning Flashes as Thunderstorms Roll Through Connecticut

Thunderstorms moved across Connecticut on Saturday, April 26, bringing downpours to parts of the state, according to the National Weather Service (NWS). According to local news reports, Saturday’s storms knocked out power for nearly 800 households and businesses. Power has since been restored, the report said. X user @BenMengual captured this footage of lightning flashing in the sky above Berlin, about 15 miles south of Hartford, on Saturday.
