Announced earlier today, teamLFG is officially joining the PlayStation Studios family. This isn’t just another acquisition—it’s a rallying cry. TeamLFG’s devs are a mix of industry powerhouses and fresh creative minds. We’re talking talent from Destiny, Halo, League of Legends, Roblox, and Rec Room. The studio itself is based in Bellevue, Washington, but the team operates across the U.S. and Canada—fully remote-friendly and future-focused.
While the group got its start within Bungie, teamLFG is now branching out into its own vision, and it’s got one heck of a pitch: build games where players don’t just queue for matches—they log in to find friends already hanging out. If that’s not a vibe shift from the chaos of modern multiplayer, we don’t know what is.
Looking For Group—Literally
LFG stands for “Looking For Group,” but this crew’s mission goes way beyond filling a lobby. According to their announcement, they’re aiming to create “immersive multiplayer action games” that players can learn, master, and enjoy for hours on end—not just grind through until the next seasonal battle pass drops.
And here’s the kicker—they’re committed to building these games with the community. They’re bringing players into the fold early via playtests and Early Access, but they’re also pledging to actually listen. No marketing fluff. Just the kind of dev transparency we all wish more studios practiced.

Sure, the Steelers have Mason Rudolph and rookie sixth-round pick Will Howard, but many consider them shaky options. Despite that, the organization remains confident that Rodgers will ultimately make his way to Pittsburgh for the 2025 season. Rodgers has stayed quiet in recent weeks and has not given any clear hints to the media. During an appearance on "The Pat McAfee Show," he mentioned that personal issues are affecting his decision, and he is still unsure about what he wants to do. His comments were vague, and the lack of a firm timeline has only added to the frustration among Steelers fans who are desperate for clarity at the quarterback position. On Friday, Steelers fans got a small update during an interview on 93.7 The Fan when Rodgers' biographer Ian O’Connor joined the show. O’Connor explained that Rodgers is still sorting through personal matters that have delayed a final decision for months. He also said Rodgers is interested in the Steelers and respects the organization. Still, any move to Pittsburgh would depend entirely on when Rodgers feels mentally and emotionally ready to commit to football again. O’Connor was asked if he was shocked by how Rodgers has handled this saga. "No, haha, not one bit," O'Connor said. "I do think there will be a happy ending, at least for him and we will find out for the Steelers and their fan base. If I had $100 to put down, my feeling is he will be in uniform June 10th, for the start of the mandatory minicamp." O’Connor is a compelling and credible voice regarding Rodgers. Caitlin Clark and Angel Reese had another encounter on Saturday in the WNBA opener for the Indiana Fever and Chicago Sky, but it was Clark who would get the last laugh. Clark's flagrant foul on Reese as she attempted to go up for a shot will create some talking points online, but the real story isn't a foul that Clark shrugged off as a normal basketball play. It's the way the Fever dominated a team many expect to contend for a playoff spot in 2025, besting Chicago by 35 points (93-58). Oddsmakers were high on the Fever entering the season. Clark is the betting favorite to be WNBA MVP, according to ESPN. Indiana is among the top contenders for the league championship after an active offseason, plus the continued development of Clark and Aliyah Boston. The former two No. 1 overall draft picks dominated. Yet, Clark stole the show with her third career triple-double, scoring 20 points on 6-of-13 shooting, including a 4-of-8 effort from three-point range, on top of 10 rebounds and 10 assists. The WNBA noted the historic nature of her triple-double. Clark wasn't just hitting from deep, though. She did connect on a first-half buzzer-beater, but her playmaking was also on full display in addition to four blocks and two steals. Boston also had a double-double with 19 points and 13 rebounds. She managed five blocks too. Indiana had 10 total, while limiting the Sky to just 29.1 percent shooting from the field. Indiana's offense was already elite. But if the Fever can play as well defensively as they did on Saturday, the rest of the league should be worried. It was just one game, but it's clear that Clark has taken a step forward. She looks more comfortable and took better care of the ball, which was her one weakness in 2024. Clark won't turn the ball over more than five times per game this season. That's just not going to happen. She showed once again that she's the best playmaker in the WNBA. The second-year star from Iowa looked like an MVP candidate on Saturday. Just like the Fever looked like a true WNBA title contender.
Sean Murphy once again dealt raw deal with Braves
Sean Murphy has once again been dealt a raw deal with the Braves. Last year, it was an oblique strain, a struggling offense, and Travis d’Arnaud. This year, it’s Drake Baldwin. When the club initially traded William Contreras and several other prospects for Sean Murphy, it was met with skepticism. After all, Wild Bill had emerged as one of the most feared backstops in the game, even if he did leave something to be desired behind the plate. Murphy squashed all concerns. The veteran backstop put together an All-Star campaign in his first season with the Braves, finishing with a 127 OPS+, which was in line with his final season in Oakland. Then, in 2024, Murphy strained his oblique on Opening Day. Murphy sat on the shelf for two months before returning. Once he did, he struggled to find rhythm because Brian Snitker had no option but to play Travis d’Arnaud. After all, he was more productive with the bat, and the offense needed every bit of it. It culminated in Murphy playing just 72 games and posting a 76 OPS+, which was 32% lower than his career average up to that point. Many Braves fans were ready to ship him out of Atlanta, but it was just an unfortunate situation in 2024. 2025 isn’t being too kind either. It started when Murphy got belted with a fastball in Spring Training, cracking a rib. It poured even more gasoline on the fire, but the difference between this season and last is Sean Murphy’s production. The All-Star has belted seven home runs, giving him a .839 OPS, and he’s playing Gold Glove defense, giving Atlanta’s pitching staff more than just about any other backstop. Unfortunately, Drake Baldwin has been even better with the stick. Including Thursday’s performance, Baldwin is slashing a ridiculous .360/.407/.573 with four home runs. That is good for a 171 OPS+, which forces Snitker’s hand again. Baldwin’s performance is quickly turning things into a 50/50 split. The Braves skipper said, “He’ll juggle the catchers from series to series, based on matchups, who’s hot, etc.” Many expected Sean Murphy to garner 100-115 games behind the plate, and he’s done nothing to deserve anything less. For goodness ' sake, he’s got a 136 OPS+, but Drake Baldwin can’t just sit on the bench with a .981 OPS either. It’s a good problem to have and a luxury Braves fans should recognize, but we can all acknowledge Murphy has been dealt another raw deal.
Source Reveals Why Rick Tocchet Passed on Bruins Coaching Job
Rick Tocchet is now the head coach the Philadelphia Flyers, but the Flyers weren’t the only team trying to hire him to go behind their bench. The Boston Bruins were reportedly interested in Tocchet, but it is being said that Tocchet declined interest in the head coaching vacancy due to concerns about the long-term stability of the team’s front office. Specifically, the future of general manager Don Sweeney had Tocchet uneasy, which included Sweeney’s propensity to fire coaches and make them the scapegoat for poor roster decisions. According to a report by RG Media’s Jimmy Murphy, Tocchet was wary of taking on the role vacated by Jim Montgomery—who was dismissed on November 19, 2024—because of Sweeney’s uncertain contract status and his history of firing head coaches. Sweeney is entering the final year of his current deal, which raised red flags for Tocchet about job security and organizational direction. “His concern with Boston was that the GM maybe has 1-2 years left,” a source close to Tocchet told RG. Another source said something similar, adding, “He was concerned for two reasons—Sweeney’s status and Sweeney’s track record with his head coaches.” Sweeney Has a History of Firing Really Good Coaches Sweeney has dismissed three head coaches as Bruins GM, including two in the past three seasons. Bruce Cassidy and Jim Montgomery were considered excellent coaches and their firings came as a surprise to many. These coaches performed well before being let go and many fans and analysts in Boston believe that it’s Sweeney and Cam Neely who should go, not the several coaches who have fallen on the sword when things don’t go as planned. In general, Sweeney has been questioned as a suitable GM. He makes interesting decisions at the NHL Draft, he makes bold trades, and gambles in free agency, and then he fires coaches when the Bruins struggle. This past season, Sweeney traded the face of the franchise in Brad Marchand for next to no return. Tocchet, who won the Jack Adams Award in 2023–24 after a strong season with the Vancouver Canucks, became a free agent on April 29, 2025, when he chose to leave an organization loaded with drama. Going to Boston wouldn’t have put him with an organization that seems to have it all figured out. Concerns over how the front office operates make Boston a team that the league watches, and often for the wrong reasons. It’s no wonder Tocchet wasn’t keen to include himself in all of that.
