Project description: This project transformed an historic building’s basement space into the new home of Circa Barbershop. The space features a blend of vintage and modern design, with subway tile and exposed brick walls, wood accents, industrial lighting, penny-round tile flooring and classic barber chairs. Chapin Commercial also expanded the storage and office space for the building’s owner and flagship tenant, Craig Reagin Clothiers.

Project description: This project is an interior renovation of the city of Charleston’s old DMV space. The scope of work includes demolition of the existing partition walls and finishes, with new construction of partitions and finishes for offices, jury waiting rooms, restrooms and a kitchen/break room. Exterior work includes adding a new window in an existing wall as well as a new door. Mechanical, electrical, plumbing, low-voltage and access-control work are also included.

Project description: Early College High School’s new 61,000-square-foot support building preserves the 1957 brick façade of Wilmot J. Fraser Elementary but adds a modern facility behind it. The project includes AVID classrooms, science labs, physical-education spaces, dining, offices and gathering areas to support the Trident Tech program. Infrastructure upgrades feature underground stormwater systems, bio-retention, faculty parking and student/bus drop-off lanes.

Project description: Foothills Community Health Care’s new clinic in Anderson County is turning an abandoned retail center into a modern medical facility. Services will include behavioral health/counseling, general practice for adult and pediatric patients, a laboratory, small procedure rooms, dental services, education and training rooms, a pharmacy and corporate offices. The new facility will have areas that can be expanded in the future to allow for new services and growth. Foothills Community Health Care worked with Pintail Capital to find and purchase the property.

Project description: A new 94,000-square-foot classroom addition along with fine-arts addition will accommodate 1,000 additional students and feature 37 classrooms as well as new ensemble and drama space. The project will also renovate the football stadium, athletic restrooms, and concessions buildings and include new faculty parking, a student parking lot and additional tennis courts.
